“Stuff Happens!” We consider health and safety an important aspect of all trips. Knowing that we are prepared for any emergency is a comfort to our members and their families. Jack Hacking, retired Eden Prairie Public Safety Director, and Tim Sather (volunteer firefighter) have all the necessary medical training and equipment to handle most medical situations until the victim reaches a hospital.
We are fully equipped and properly trained to handle anything from a blister, headache, heart attack or cardiac arrest. An Automatic External Defibrillator, a Suction Unit, Four D-Cylinder Oxygen Tanks and three fully equipped, large Paramedic Trauma Bags stand ready for first aid and emergency use.
